Your guests will be greeted in a proper foyer separating the kitchen and the great room. On either side of the foyer are two large closets. Both closets have been custom outfitted with organizers and a dresser. To the left a separate, windowed kitchen has generous, granite countertops and stainless steel appliances, including a microwave and dishwasher, all encased in beautiful, dark wood cabinetry. The windowed bathroom with tub and shower is accessible from the foyer, and retains the original vintage tile and a classic vanity.

A generous great room has a large southwest facing window and graciously accommodates a queen size bed, entertainment area and room for a work-from-home desk. The far wall of the room has been updated with new custom bookshelves and cabinetry, sleekly hiding a queen size murphy bed. Even with the bed down the room is incredibly spacious. The living area and foyer both boast beautiful cork floors, which have a lovely patina and provide sound insulation that is warm and soft underfoot.
Centrally located on Remsen Street between Hicks and Henry, "The Remsen" is a landmarked 1929 building with a distinctive facade and lobby. It is close to seven subway lines and just one stop from Manhattan. It is a block away from the famous Brooklyn Promenade and a close to the Brooklyn Bridge Park. Incredibly convenient for everyday living; the building is near Montague street with a grocery store, book shop, liquor store, hardware store, and more than a dozen restaurants. Brooklyn Heights also has a farmer's market, numerous community events and several block parties in the summer. It's a great place to call home.
